Entrepreneurship Workshop
OLSA Entrepreneurship Workshop was held on 22nd May 2024 at St Cross College, Oxford. The event featured insights from experts in entrepreneurship, academia, and investment, including Mr. Lijun Yang, CEO of Shanghai Qingpu Pioneering Park, and Mr. William Sun, CEO of FIDEM Capital. Dr. Ying-Jie Wang, Chairman of OLSA, also provided academic perspectives. With 30 diverse students in attendance, the workshop showcased journeys of senior entrepreneurs and innovative ideas from new entrepreneurs, fostering a collaborative and inspiring environment for aspiring life science entrepreneurs.

Career in Life Science Series
Career in Life Science: Insights from Entrepreneur in Cell Gene Therapy Industry was successfully held on Thursday, 16th March, 2023. The event was attended by individuals interested in start-up companies and entrepreneurship. Hao Zhang, the founder and CEO of the gene and cell therapy biotech Chimeris UK Ltd., shared his entrepreneurial experiences and offered insights into the life science industry. Shifan Liao, a Partner of Briar Capital, also joined the discussion and provided valuable perspectives on investment and entrepreneurship. The event provided a platform for attendees to network with entrepreneurs and investment partners, as well as share their ideas and receive professional feedback.
